“My patients at Performance Chiropractic range from small children to the
elderly, from stay at home moms to professional athletes. It is our goal to
treat the whole body, not simply focus on the point of the pain. We focus on
getting all of your systems to work properly. This way we can achieve faster
results and long-term success.
I began my education at Westmont College in Santa Barbara where I received a BS
in biology (Pre Med) in 1995, graduating with Cum Laude honors. From there I
went on to receive my doctorate degree with Cum Laude honors from Los Angeles
College of Chiropractic (LACC) in 2000.
I feel like I have been given the opportunity to help others heal and live life
to the fullest. It is a responsibility I take seriously. That is why I continue
to enhance my skills as a physician. Since receiving my doctorate, I have been
certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) including upper extremity, lower
extremity, full spine, nerve entrapment, and biomechanics. In addition, I am
Certified Orthotic Provider.
I remember when the family doctor was a vital part of ones life that is why I
remain very connected to my hometown and my community. I was born and raised
in Newport Beach and love this community. I volunteer and provide my free time
to local schools, athletics, and non-profit organizations, such as the Santa
Margarita High School football team and the SOKA University Track and Field
team.
To help patients get rid of the pain they suffer with and provide them with the
nutritional and physical guidance they need to maintain their health is a
privilege.”

Then, I injured my calf playing tennis and could hardly walk off the court. I
immediately called Performance Chiropractic for an appointment with Dr.
Gundlach. After only two weeks of treatment, I was back playing tennis and pain
free. I know other people who had similar injuries were unable to play for at
least eight weeks, many who still experience pain while playing.
